I am a budding artist-activist-scholar, interested in questions of belonging and identity.
In my free time, I enjoy reading fiction (that is thinly-disguised nonfiction/memoir), nonfiction (that is written like fiction), and attending local events in my hometown, which is currently, Boston, Massachusetts.
Previously, I lived in:
– Winchendon, Massachusetts (where I worked at a boarding school),
– Hong Kong, Hong Kong (where I worked at an extracurricular learning center and educational counseling company),
– Shenzhen, China (where I worked at a public high school),
– Williamstown, Massachusetts (where I studied),
and Vancouver, Washington (where I was born and raised).
Here is my original blog with some original thoughts and photos. Therein, you will find my attempts at cooking, my adventures in eating out, and snapshots of visual art I found here and there (mostly from Santa Fe, New Mexico, where I was a Bread Loaf student).
